Choose by task

Lexmount hosts the browser. Your machine runs the SDK and automation library; it does not need a local Chromium download to connect over CDP. A local Chromium installation is needed only if your own program also launches a local browser.

Credentials and service address

Create an API Key in Settings → API Keys and copy the matching Project ID. Set these in the shell that launches your program:

For the global service, use https://api.lexmount.com with credentials issued by that service. Changing the hostname does not migrate a project or its credentials. Never put keys or authenticated CDP URLs in browser-side code, screenshots, Git, or shared logs.

First success

Run the Node.js quickstart or Python quickstart. Success means the session becomes active, the script prints Example Domain, and the session is closed afterward. A successful create response alone does not prove navigation works.

Select normal for Chromium. Select light for Moli only after checking browser compatibility. Session execution and optional resources can consume quota; review pricing before increasing concurrency.
