Lexmount Documentation

Choose Browser for interactive automation, Web Fetch for extraction, Web Search to find pages, or Runtime for JavaScript tasks.

Choose a Lexmount API by task shape rather than programming language alone.

Browser SDKs create a session and return a CDP connection URL. Web Fetch performs a bounded extraction request and does not expose an interactive browser session.

Browser types

The console uses product names while SDKs retain stable API values:

Product namePythonNode.jsBest fit
Chromiumbrowser_mode="normal"browserMode: 'normal'Full browser automation and persistent browser features
Molibrowser_mode="light"browserMode: 'light'Lightweight agent browsing and content-oriented tasks

Persistent replay is unavailable for Moli sessions. The console also hides persistent context, replay, and stored-download controls when Moli is selected. Feature availability still depends on the project plan and target environment.

Credentials and endpoints

Create an API Key in Settings → API Keys. Browser SDKs read:

LEXMOUNT_API_KEY=<your-api-key>
LEXMOUNT_PROJECT_ID=<your-project-id>
LEXMOUNT_BASE_URL=https://api.lexmount.cn

LEXMOUNT_BASE_URL defaults to https://api.lexmount.cn. For the global service, use https://api.lexmount.com and obtain credentials from https://browser.lexmount.com.

Web Fetch uses the same project credentials as X-API-Key and X-Project-Id headers. Web Search uses these headers with credentials from the COM site and the https://api.lexmount.com/v1/search endpoint; do not use the CN endpoint for Web Search.
